Registration for newsletter

Tichelaar offers you the possibility to subscribe to the newsletter. Herewith you give Tichelaar permission to store the data. In this way Tichelaar can keep you informed of activities, news and/or developments. Tichelaar offers the possibility to unsubscribe at any time.

If a newsletter is sent, statistics are collected on the basis of the e-mail address. Our newsletters are sent to a specific area of interest. By our statistics on email address we ensure that the content of the newsletter is in line with the interests of Subscribers.

Forms on tichelaar.nl and tichelaar.com

On different parts of this website there are forms where is asked for personal data. This personal information is stored in our Kirra CMS (on Dutch servers under Dutch jurisdiction) and are usually mailed to the specific department to handle the data.

The data forms are only sent by e-mail to the department for which the data are relevant. This means a contact request or information request about products is only received by the secretary department. This is a mailbox where only people who are currently working in that function have access to. There is only a select number of employees that is able to see all form submissions for management purposes.

The data will only be used for follow-up of a contact request. In addition to the information you enter this is the time, the IP address and the page in question.
 

Storage of data

  • Forms and newsletter sign-ups
    For forms on pages within tichelaar.nl or tichelaar.com that are submitted it applies that they are stored by Kirra CMS. These are always on servers that are managed by Kirra. These servers are located in the Netherlands and are under Dutch jurisdiction. This information is for our own purposes and will not be sent outside Netherlands (now or in the future). Transport of this information is always done over a secure connection. This storage is generally valid indefinitely.
     
  •  Statistics
     For the collection of statistics, we use the anonymized version of Google Analytics. These statistics do not contain any personal   or demographic information. Tichelaar has closed an agreement with Google for the processing of data. The option to share the data with other services (including services of Google itself) is disabled. Transport of this information is always done over a secure connection. The storage of this data is in the hands of Google and happens in the EU or US under American jurisdiction. This storage is generally indefinitely valid.
     

You have the right:

  • of access to the data that we hold about you and you can correct or delete this in many* cases.
  • to withdraw your consent to certain processing operations (such as sending a newsletter)

*We are required to keep certain information from you. For example contact details of our active clients. From the point of view of security, we are also forced to perform backups. We will check this on accuracy. It is therefore not possible to have  your data removed  from backups because this will no longer be correct.
